How to fix your print when part of it comes off the printing bed midpoint ?

So just finished printing up a drone frame for my son and I to build. And one of the arms that holds the motor and propellor came off the printing bed about 30% into the drone frame printing. So I am on the Monoprice maker select 13860 at work, and not real sure how to start and stop mid print, as I have tried a couple times and it never works, so I decided to tape the arm back down to the bed at the very most corner of the drone arm, and it actually worked a while, then tape kept popping off, so I decided to use a toothpick and a minuscule amount of gorilla glue , lol, yeah I know it could have spelled disaster if it got into my extruders nozzle, but it didnt and I put the slightest amount on end of the toothpick and then wiped the point of toothpick under the drone arm and then used the other end of the toothpick (the end without glue) to push down on the drone arm so it would adhere to the glue and bed, and worked great!

Just do NOT forget to use the opposite end of the toothpick (clean end) to push down on the print once glue is under it, as you donít want to use the glue end where the nozzle will come into contact with!

I should also add, that I am curious how others handle this situation of the print coming off the bed in areas, and what they do to remedy the situation? I think I simply got lucky using tape and then glue, which is not really a great solution lol,

I've been using a layer of spray adhesive from the beginning or hairspray which seems to keep the print down so that it doesn't come up in the first place. I would think that the spray adhesive (I use a can of Photo Mount from a crafts store like Hobby Lobby) should work fine to re-stick a print to the bed.
